Day -- Thursday, Friday and Saturday/Sleigh ride, Dining at Chez Jude,
Dog Sled Trip
Enjoy the romance of a sleigh ride though the woods on Thursday, dine
at Bearskin's Chez Jude on Friday, go on a 30 minute dog sled
trip on Saturday. Ski, snowshoe, snuggle. Relax
fireside in your cabin with a complimentary bottle of Robert Mondavi

Lantern Lit Sleigh Ride package:
Bearskin Lodge offers complimentary lantern lit sleigh rides
through the woods at nearby Okontoe on Thursday nights at 6:30 PM on
the following dates: January 28
(full), February 4, February 18, and February 25. (Okontoe
is located about 3 miles farther up the Gunflint Trail from Bearskin, a
short drive from our resort.) Please let us
know when you book your stay if you would like to go on the sleigh ride
-- sleigh rides will fill up.
Note about sleigh
rides: Thursday sleigh rides may be cancelled due to
extremely cold weather. That is a choice that is made at
Okonotoe, not by Bearskin. Most sleigh rides do go out, but you
should be aware that cold weather can cancel this activity .
The
Bearskin Wilderness Pursuit Ski Race will be
occurring
again this year during Winter Tracks Festival at the end of
February. Sign up as a racer and we'll give you a 10% discount on your
Bearskin Lodging. You don't have to be speedy to participate
in this
fun race. This was a friendly, very social and easy-going event
last year,
with great prizes for participants. Call, email or use the online
sign-up
forms to be part of the race.
