The 2010 Bearskin Wilderness Pursuit Race did not get enough advance registrations to hold the race this year. As of February 20th, we have decided to cancel this year's Wilderness Pursuit. We hope to have a race again in 2011.
The Bearskin Wilderness Pursuit was part of the Gunflint Trail's "Winter Tracks" Festival, which unfortunately fell on the same weekend this year as the Midwest's biggest ski event, the Birkie. If Winter Tracks and the Birkie are scheduled to occur on the same weekend next year, we plan to host our race on a different weekend.
